Checkout Invoicing
Allow your customers to request or generate their invoice from the order confirmation page.
Guide to adding the invoicing form to order confirmation pages (Thank You and Order Status) in your Shopify store.

Access the theme editor
In the Shopify admin panel, go to "Online Store" > "Themes". Find your active theme and click the "Customize" button to open the visual editor.

Open the page selector
At the top of the editor, click the page selector (where the current page name appears). In the dropdown menu, select "Checkout and customer accounts" to access the checkout process pages.
What are Checkout pages?These are the special pages of the payment process: Thank You (purchase confirmation) and Order Status (order tracking). This is where your customers can request their invoice. - 3
Navigate to Thank You and open Apps
Within "Checkout and customer accounts", select "Thank you" from the submenu. Once on the Thank You page, click the "Apps" icon (squares) in the left sidebar to see available blocks.

Add the Invoicing block
Look for "SAT Invoicing - Factoro" in the list of available apps and click to add it. You'll see a checkmark when it's active.

Choose where to display the form
When clicking on the Invoicing block, a dropdown menu will appear to choose which page to show it on: "Thank you" (confirmation) or "Order status" (order tracking).
Which to choose?Thank you: customer sees the form right after paying. Order status: customer can invoice later when checking their order. We recommend adding to both. - 6
Preview the form
The "Invoice Request" form will appear in the page preview. You can drag it to change its position within the page.

Configure the invoicing mode
In the block settings panel (Block settings), select your preferred "Invoicing mode": Request or Automatic.
Available modesRequest: customer submits their data and you manually approve the invoice. Automatic: customer generates the invoice instantly without your intervention. - 8
Optional: Add to Order Status
For maximum accessibility, repeat the process by selecting "Order status" in the page selector. This way customers can also invoice when checking their order after purchase.
RecommendationAdding the form to both pages (Thank you and Order status) maximizes opportunities for your customers to invoice without contacting you.
